InWater’s monitoring and control equipment, built on Point4 technology, is designed to be customizable and expandable. The backbone of our monitoring system is the Remote Interface Unit (RIU), often located tank-side, which can used in the following set-ups:
- One or more RIUs mounted tank-side. Each RIU has two internal relays – one for control and another for alarming. RIUs can be daisy-chained together for alarming.
- RIUs connected to InWater’s main control panel (the LC)
- RIUs connect to the Pt4Sync software on a PC
- RIUs connected to the facilities SCADA system
In all cases, the RIU store the high and low set points which provides the most secure control when problems arise.
COMPARISON OF FEATURES IN EACH SYSTEM OPTION
POINT4 MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM WITH AN LC
RIUs connected to the InWater LC3 are the most robust solution for alarming and monitoring/control from an office or off-site. More information on the features and benefits of the LC can be found here.
POINT4 MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM WITH PT4
Pt4Sync is our Windows based software that can be used to view data and change parameters from a central location such as the facility’s office.
POINT4 MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM WITH YOUR SCADA
RIUs can be connected to you SCADA system to provide local control and important redundancy. If your main system goes down, the RIUs continue to maintain safe oxygen.
